Waterford High School is home to a thriving athletics program that helps students remain active, establish connections with peers, and receive scholarships. In the past several years, our Wildcat teams have won a variety of championship titles, including section championships in football, boys' cross country, cheer, boys' soccer, baseball, and track and field. In 2021-22 alone, the Wildcats went to the playoffs in six sports, won two section titles, won the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Academic Championship, won two league championships, broke over 10 school records, and had the the best football season in school history.

As each of these teams compete, our Wildcat cheer squad is there to pump up the crowd and cheer them on to victory. Cheerleaders also have the opportunity to continue into the Spring with Competitive Cheer, where they move from the sidelines to center stage to awe the judges with their spirited routines.
